Since 2001, when Hartford Hospital implemented the first Premise bed management product and realized a significant, immediate impact on hospital operations and overall performance, Premise has grown to become the leading provider of clinically-focused patient flow solutions to the most prestigious hospitals across North America.

Prior to the completion of its comprehensive and award-winning Patient Flow Platform, Premise delivered consulting solutions to the healthcare industry as far back as 1993. Early on, co-founders Eric Rosow and Joe Adam built a reputation for providing relentless client support along with diverse and innovative tools to help organizations improve efficiency.

In January of 2009, Premise became part of Eclipsys Corporation (NASDAQ: ECLP). Premise's solutions are now known as Sunrise Patient Flow.
